Terms of service

Last updated October 7, 2026

By creating an AbateDesk account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

AbateDesk is a recordkeeping tool for asbestos and lead abatement jobs: waste shipment records and their returns, crew accreditations, and records of the notices and permits you file with your agency. It does not file notices or pay permit fees for you, and it is not legal or regulatory advice. Notice lead times in the app are editable data that ships with a federal default; working-day counts skip weekends but not public holidays, and states set their own rules, so always confirm lead times, deadlines and license requirements with your agency. Your company remains responsible for its notices, permits, waste paperwork, licenses, safety procedures and required records.

Your data

Your company's records belong to your company. Accessible records can be exported as CSV. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability and liability

We work to keep AbateDesk available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Keep any paper or backup records your agency, contracts or insurer require. The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
